In Proof Positive, Joe Gunther and his team leave their standard New England bailiwick for Philadelphia. Two bodies are found in a hoarder’s Vermont home; one victim has a Philly rap sheet and may have played a role in the hoarder's demise.
Another body turns up in the City of Brotherly Love. Mayor’s research for Proof Positive took him sniffing around Philadelphia Police Department headquarters and Port Richmond. It is Archer’s 25th Gunther novel.
