Scam Advisory: We have been made aware that an online entity is posing as Joe Donahue to invite authors and other creatives onto our radio shows. The scammers then attempt to charge guests an appearance fee for exposure/publicity.

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood's Giraffe Award - Susie Essman

Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood will present comedian Susie Essman with their inaugural Giraffe Award for sticking out her neck to defend abortion and reproductive rights. The 31-year standup comedy veteran has played Susie Greene for all eight seasons of the hit HBO comedy series, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

About 200 guests will attend Thursday Night’s 80 Years of Choice Celebration and hear Essman share why she supports Planned Parenthood. Our good friend Susie Essman joins us this morning along with Chelly Hegan, Upper Hudson Planned Parenthood’s President/CEO.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
