"Big Maggie" at Albany Civic Theater

The play, Big Maggie by John B. Keane revolves around the domineering mother of four grown children. They are determined to go their own ways and are likely headed in the wrong directions.

Maggie's often-drunk, womanizing husband has died, so she is now free to exercise some control over her life and her children, much to the consternation of the young people.

The Albany Civic Theater production of Big Maggie opens this Friday.

Here now to tell us more are Kevin McNamara the Artistic Director at ACT; Patrick White who plays Byrne in Big Maggie and Kathleen Carey, the actress portraying the title character.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
