Albany, NY – Discussions of Richard Nixon tend to be dominated by Watergate. What often gets overlooked are the foreign policy shifts that occurred during Nixon's tenure. In his two terms, relationships with the Soviet Union and China were redefined, and the administration's strategy for dealing with the Israeli-Egyptian conflict still has reverberations today. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was crucial in all of these developments. Historian and presidential scholar Robert Dallek wrote on the relationship between these two men in Nixon and Kissinger: Partners in Power.
