Albany, NY – Michal Goldman is best known for her moving documentaries on labor unions, klezmer music, and Arabic song. She came to the National Yiddish Book Center on Sunday September 18th to speak about her newest project - At Home in Utopia, the first feature-length documentary about the United Workers Cooperative Colony in New York. Alan spoke with her about the film as well as his own memories of "The Coops."
