Former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders emerged as the two frontrunners in the Democratic presidential primary following Super Tuesday voting. Biden scored sweeping victories from Texas to Massachusetts, revitalizing a bid that was teetering on the edge of disaster just days earlier. But Sanders seized the biggest prize with a win in California.
