James is the first player in NBA history to score 30 points and shoot at least 60 percent in six straight games after finishing with 30 on 11-of-15 shooting in Miami's 117-104 win over Portland.

Checking the NHL now, the New York Rangers blew a 3-0 lead in the third period before Rick Nash and Ryan Callahan scored shootout goals to give the Rangers a 4-3 win over Boston.
The Ottawa Senators defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-0.
Carolina doubled up New Jersey 4-2. Montreal bested Tampa Bay 4-3 and Vancouver beat Minnesota 2-1.
Checking top 25 College Basketball, 4th ranked Michigan and 8th ranked Michigan State squared off for the first time and the eighth-ranked Spartans led by as many as 16 points in the first half and 30 in the second before settling for a 75-52 pounding of the fourth-ranked Wolverines.
In other College Basketball news, Boston University beat Vermont 64-59 and Stony Brook beat Binghamton 47-73.
In Baseball, Alex Rodriguez will not report to spring training and will instead work on his rehabilitation from hip surgery in New York.
And Felix Hernadez is just a signature away from officially becoming the highest-paid pitcher in baseball. Felix and the Seattle Mariners have reached agreement on a seven-year contract worth $175 million.
