Most of the NFL's top stars have taken part in another high-scoring Pro Bowl game in Honolulu. The best of the NFC won the annual encounter, beating the stars from the AFC 62-35. The NFC point total is a Pro Bowl record. Minnesota tight end Kyle Rudolph was voted the game's MVP with 122 yards and a touchdown. Checking the NBA the Celtics beat the visiting Heat 100-98 in double overtime to snap a six-game losing streak. Paul Pierce hit a go-ahead jumper with 31 seconds left and finished with a triple-double of 17 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Kevin Garnett had 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.

Afterwards, Boston players were told that All-Star guard Rajon Rondo will miss the rest of the season due to a severe injury to his right knee. He was injured in Friday's double-overtime loss to Atlanta.

Carmelo Anthony tied a franchise record with nine 3-pointers, then converted a go-ahead, three-point play with 12.5 seconds left to cap a 42-point night and lead the New York Knicks to a 106-104 victory over Atlanta. The Hawks shot a season-high 60 percent from the field but had their three-game winning streak snapped when Josh Smith, burned on Anthony's basket, missed a 3-pointer on Atlanta's final possession.

Elsewhere the L-A Lakers beat Oklahoma City 105-96.

Detroit 104, Orlando 102. New Orleans bested Memphis 91-83.

Dallas won against Phoenix 110-95. And the L-A clippers defeated Portland 96-83. In the NHL Winnipeg edged ahead of the NY islanders 5-4. Washington slid past Buffalo 3-2. Pittsburg beat Ottawa 2-1. St. Louis 5, Minnesota 4. Montreal 4, New Jersey 3. Tampa Bay blew out Philadelphia 5-1. And Chicago topped Detroit 2-1.

In top 25 College Basketball 2nd ranked Michigan shut out Illinois 74-60.

7th ranked Indiana defeated 13th Michigan St. 75-70. And 25th ranked Miami took on and defeated Florida St. 71-47.

And finally the Australian Open is over and it came to an end with Novak Djokovic winning an Open era-record third-straight title.
