Vermont Governor Extends COVID-19 State Of Emergency

Vermont Statehouse-Coronavirus

Vermont Gov. Phil Scott has extended for another month the state of emergency imposed to help the state cope with the COVID-19 pandemic.
During his regular Monday briefing, Scott said that he's extending the state of emergency first imposed in March through July 15.  “I know this has felt like a very long journey already and so much uncertainty remains and you’re tired of it. I can relate. But if we continue to stay smart we will get through this.”

Scott also announced that he is allowing the state's campgrounds to open at full capacity.
