WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock discusses the start of President Trump's impeachment trial in the Senate today, and reports that New York Congresswoman Elise Stefanik has joined the president's defense team.

Dr. Chartock also considers how New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's expected state budget proposal will tackle a $6 billion budget deficit.
