A meeting is set for Tuesday evening in Albany as business owners, elected officials, mental health experts and service providers will gather to talk about homeless and mentally ill individuals.
The meeting was organized by Jason Pierce, the president of the Savoy Taproom at 301 Lark Street, who has seen firsthand the growth of the homeless population near his business. Pierce spoke with WAMC’s Brian Shields ahead of the 7 p.m. meeting.
