166-Acre Farm Preserved In Saratoga Springs

Saratoga PLAN

Saratoga PLAN announced Friday that the 166-Acre Pitney Farm, one of the last remaining in Saratoga Springs, will be preserved.

Working with the Pitney family, PLAN will purchase the farm this fall.

In a release, PLAN said the community farm is “envisioned as a farm hub for the region” where visitors of all ages will be able to learn and benefit from a working farm.

PLAN says the farm, which features 120 tillable acres, could host a multi-purpose community center to serve as a farmer’s market and event space.
