With Extradition Bill Scrapped, Will Hong Kong Protests End?

The leader of Hong Kong, Carrie Lam, has withdrawn the extradition bill with China that sparked the protest movement, but that will not end the demonstrations according to a college professor from our region who just returned from a trip to Hong Kong. 

Dr. Beverly Yuen Thompson, an associate professor of sociology at Siena College in Loudonville, NY, tells WAMC’s Brian Shields the focus of the protest has grown beyond the extradition bill.
