UAlbany Professor Studying Atmospheric Impacts Of COVID-19 Crisis

University at Albany

The COVID-19 crisis has had a profound effect on public health, the economy, and everyday life. But researchers are also studying how the ripple effects of the disease will impact air quality and global pollution emissions.

Mathias Vuille, a professor at the UAlbany Department of Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences, spoke to WAMC's Lucas Willard about recent moves from the Trump administration to roll back environmental and air quality protections during the pandemic.

Lucas Willard is a news reporter and host at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, which he joined in 2011. He produces and hosts The Best of Our Knowledge and WAMC Listening Party.
