Post-Star Newspaper Building Up For Sale

The building that houses The Post-Star newspaper in Glens Falls, New York is up for sale.

Post-Star Interim Publisher Brian Corcoran says in October 2017 the newspaper began outsourcing its printing operations to The Daily Gazette in Schenectady.

“Over the last year and a half or so we realized that we have way more land, way more buildings than we need for our current operations.”

The Post-Star’s main 16,000-square-foot building sits on a roughly five-acre lot on Lawrence Street. The company is also looking to sell a storage facility on nearby Cooper St. for a total asking price of $1.3 million.

The Post-Star has been at the Lawrence St. location for almost 50 years. Corcoran said the newspaper would like to remain in Glens Falls.
