A new affordable housing development supported by public dollars will be constructed in Saratoga Springs.
New York State Homes and Community Renewal announced the start of construction on a $34 million project at 247 Washington Street.
The “Intrada Saratoga Springs” project will include 157 apartments in four buildings.
Meant to address a housing shortage in the Spa City, the project will also set aside 10 units for youth aging out of foster care with access to on-site services.
Officials gathered for a groundbreaking on Wednesday.
