A Schenectady County middle school was on lockdown Friday afternoon after a threatening note was discovered inside a bathroom.
Officials at the Van Antwerp Middle School in Niskayuna called police to school grounds around 2:30 p.m. Students and staff were on lockdown for over three hours before given the all-clear.
In an online statement, the Niskayuna Central School District says no credible threat was found and police are continuing their investigation.
