Saratoga Performing Arts Center Friday night kicked off their holiday season with the Orchestra of St. Luke's performing Bach's Brandenburg concertos at the Bethesda Congregational Church in Saratoga Springs.

Prior to the performance, WAMC's Lucas Willard spoke with SPAC President and CEO Elizabeth Sobol about what's next on the SPAC winter calendar.

NOTE: Peter Martins, the longtime artistic director of the New York City Ballet, has taken a leave of absence in the wake of sexual harassment accusations made against him. The ballet calls SPAC its summer home and is scheduled to perform in Saratoga Springs for one week this summer.

Lucas Willard is a news reporter and host at WAMC Northeast Public Radio, which he joined in 2011. He produces and hosts The Best of Our Knowledge and WAMC Listening Party.
