The University at Albany is getting a new president.
The State University of New York's board of trustees plans to announce the appointment on Wednesday afternoon in Albany.
The school's former president, Robert Jones, left in September to become chancellor of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
James Stellar has been serving as interim president since then.
