Seven people were brought to the hospital after severe thunderstorms hit the Pine Lake area of the Fulton County town of Caroga Saturday evening.

Authorities received calls of trees and wires down with several trees on cars, campers and structures. Multiple agencies reported to the scene around 6:30 p.m

There were no life threatening injuries and no reports of fatalities, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.

“The Eddie” music festival, with more than 1,000 people in attendance, was also evacuated.

Six individuals were reportedly sent to the hospital after a lightning strike in Lake George Saturday evening.

CBS 6 reports the Warren County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after severe storms tore through the Lake George Battlefield Campground. One person was reportedly being administered CPR when authorities arrived on the scene.

Over the last week, at least 3 others were killed and 4 others injured in New York by lightning strikes.
