State and local officials as well as contracted engineers will hold a public meeting at Bennington College at 5:30 for residents affected by the PFOA contamination found in local water supplies.
Preliminary engineering reports for municipal drinking water line extensions will be discussed. Updates on blood clinics and water sampling will also be provided.
PFOA, which has also been found in the nearby New York communities of Hoosick Falls and Petersburgh, has been linked to ill-health effects including cancer.
