SPAC Announces $5 Million Fundraising Campaign

SPAC announced the capital campaign at its annual meeting Wednesday, intending it to coincide with the organization’s 50th anniversary season.

SPAC President and Executive Director Marcia White announced that more than $4 million has already been raised during the campaign’s silent phase.

The organization  says the “$50 for 50” campaign initiated last October has raised $22,500.

Two new board members were also announced at the annual meeting, including Saratoga Springs developer Sonny Bonacio and Richard Higgins, vice chair of the Saratoga Springs City Center.

Also announced is a $100,000 grant from the Charles R. Wood Foundation and a $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
