Jazz trumpeter Chris Botti is a Grammy Award-winning composer and musician who, in his words, is on a non-stop tour. Coming off a lengthy string of performances in New York City, Botti is set to leave for a world tour. This August, as part of Saratoga Performing Arts Center’s 50th Anniversary season, Botti will perform alongside the Philadelphia Orchestra and renowned violinist Joshua Bell. Botti spoke with WAMC’s Southern Adirondack Bureau Chief during a brief break between shows.
