246 Acres Preserved In Saratoga County

A Saratoga Springs-based non-profit has announced the conservation of 246 acres in Saratoga County.

Saratoga PLAN says it has secured a conservation easement on the Anchor-Diamond Park at the former Hawkwood Estate in the Town of Ballston.

The “forever wild” property will feature publicly accessible trails.

John Taylor said he is happy the community will “be able to experience and enjoy nature at Hawkwood as my family did.”

The 246-acre plot sits close to the Wm. H. Buckley Farm, property also protected by Saratoga PLAN.
