Meet Dr. Carolyn Stefanco, St. Rose's New President

The College of St. Rose in Albany has named its 11th president. The St. Rose Board of Trustees approved the recommendation of the search committee in its appointment of Dr. Carolyn Stefanco, who has served as the vice president for academic affairs at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. since 2010. Dr. Stefanco, who will assume her new position at St. Rose July 1, will fill the vacancy of Dr. David Szczerbacki. Dr. Stefanco, who served as a Fulbright scholar in Croatia, has also held positions in the California State University system and Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
