Albany, NY – Well the Celtics four-game winning streak is over...
Last night in Boston, the Cavaliers closed on a 10-nothing run over the final four minutes, as they rallied to beat the Celtics 88-87. Kyrie Irving netted the game-winning layup with 2.6 seconds left.
In New Jersey, DeMar DeRozan poured in a game-high 27, as Toronto trounced New Jersey 94-73.
Elsewhere, Dallas edged San Antonio 101-100, Miami downed Chicago 97-93, the Clippers dumped Denver 109-105, the Lakers closed out Minnesota 106-101, Indiana blew out Orlando 106-85, and Atlanta hammered New Orleans 94-72.
To the NFL, Brandon Marshall's record-setting four touchdown receptions, gave the AFC a 59-41 win over the NFC at the Pro Bowl from Honolulu.
To Top 25 college hoops, Ohio State dropped Michigan 64-49, North Carolina got by Georgia Tech 93-81, Indiana whipped Iowa 103-89, and Notre Dame knocked off U-Conn 50-48.
On the Women's side, Miami crushed Boston College 88-57, Georgetown upset Rutgers 54-36, and Delaware downed James Madison 72-65.
In tennis, Novak Djokovic is the Australian Open men's champion after winning the longest Grand Slam singles final in the history of pro tennis. It took nearly six hours and five sets for top-ranked Djokovic to grind out a win over Rafael Nadal.
On Saturday, Victoria Azarenka beat Maria Sharapova in straight sets to win the women's title.
To the ice, Rangers forward Marian Gaborik's hat trick, helped lead Team Chara to a 12-9 win over Team Alfredsson in the NHL All-Star game. Gaborik was the game's MVP.
In golf, Robert Rock fired a final round 70 to win the Abu Dahbi Championship. Rock, who finished 13 under par, beat Rory McIlroy by one stroke, and two in front of Thomas Bjorn, Graeme McDowell, and Tiger Woods.
And in soccer, Abby Wambach and Alex Morgan each scored twice as the U.S. women's soccer team beat Canada 4-0 to win the CONCACAF Olympic qualifying tournament.
