Kingston, NY – 200 new jobs created in Ulster County as a health care network expands its operations - WAMC's Hudson Valley Bureau Chief Dave Lucas reports...

UnitedHealthcare announced Thursday it will hire 200 additional employees for its Kingston operations center on Boices Lane... The first 75 openings will be filled in the first three months of the year. The positions range from entry-level to mid-management. UnitedHealth Care Employer and Individual CEO Bill Golden proudly remarked that, thanks largely to the Kingston call center, UnitedHealthcare is recording the highest customer satisfaction levels ever achieved in company history. State Senator Bill Larkin complimented the audience, largely composed of company employees, on their effectiveness. Ulster County Legislature Chairwoman Terry Bernardo stated that county lawmaker's top priority is retaining existing businesses.

UnitedHealthcare serves more than 3.6 million New York residents with a health care network of more than 43-thousand doctors and other healthcare professionals and 203 statewide.
