District Attorney to Hold Q&A in Bernie Fine Case

Syracuse, NY – Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick plans a live online question and answer session on the investigation into sex abuse allegations against a fired Syracuse University assistant basketball coach. WAMC's Tristan O'Neill reports...

The Syracuse Post-Standard reports that Fitzpatrick will answer readers' questions at 10 a.m. this morning on the newspaper's website, www.syracuse.com.

Two former Syracuse University ball boys, Bobby Davis and his stepbrother Michael Lang, say they were molested by Fine back in the 1980s. Fitzpatrick said in a news conference last week that he believes Davis and Lang to be credible. But since the statute of limitations has passed, the prosecutor's office won't pursue charges.

Fitzpatrick also announced he was giving Fine's lawyers material regarding a third accuser, Zach Tomaselli, that would be helpful to the defense.
