New York, NY – A group of protesters who dressed up as "Robin Hoods" and called for more funding to fight AIDS have been arrested after forming a human chain near City Hall. WAMC's Dave Lucas reports...

The protesters were among about 100 people who marched Thursday from lower Manhattan's Zuccotti Park to City Hall. They were arrested after chaining themselves together and lying flat on the pavement. Police pushed them to the side of the road so that traffic could pass through.

The protesters said 13 were arrested. Police said eight.

Protesters want Mayor Michael Bloomberg and members of Congress to institute taxes on Wall Street trade to pay for AIDS treatment.

Some Occupy Wall Street activists joined the march on World AIDS Day. Later Thursday, Jackson Browne performed for about 200 people in Zuccotti Park.
