Albany, NY – Well Boston has reclaimed the top spot in the AL East...

Last night at Fenway, Josh Reddick singled home the winning run in the bottom of the tenth, giving the Red Sox a 3-2 comeback win over the Yankees. The win moves Boston one game ahead of the Yankees, who are 2-10 versus the Red Sox this season.

Elsewhere in the AL, Texas topped Cleveland 5-3, the Angels edged Seattle 2-1, Kansas City nipped Detroit 4-3, Oakland got by Tampa Bay 5-4 in 10, the White Sox whitewashed Minnesota 7-0, and Toronto dumped Baltimore 7-2.

Over to the NL, in Queens, Chipper Jones ripped a tie-breaking single in the ninth, as Atlanta held on to beat the Mets 6-5.

Elsewhere, San Francisco dropped Philadelphia 3-1, Arizona held off the Dodgers 4-3, San Diego beat Pittsburgh 7-3, St. Louis doubled up Florida 8-4, Milwaukee downed Houston 7-3, Cincinnati outlasted the Cubs 8-7, and Washington clipped Colorado 3-2.

In NFL news, Giants top draft pick, cornerback Prince Amukamara, is expected to have surgery on his broken left foot, an injury he suffered over the weekend. He's likely to miss two months.

Former Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis, a veteran of the club for 11 years, has signed with the Patriots. Jets head coach Rex Ryan was less-than-pleased, saying "the fact that he chose them, there's no way I'm going to wish him well. There's no chance of that."

In golf, Adam Scott fired a 5-under-65 and walked off the 72nd hole with a four-shot victory at the Bridgestone Invitational. The Australian finished 17-under par to capture his first World Golf Championship title. Scott's caddy, Steve Williams, picked up his eighth win at Firestone, the seven previous wins coming with Tiger Woods, who fired him last month. Woods finished 12 shots over, tied for 37th place.

And in NASCAR, despite driving on a broken ankle, Brad Keselowski took the checkered flag in Sunday's Sprint Cup race at Pocono Raceway.
