Cambridge, NY – Hundreds of people crowded into a rural church Monday to pay respects to the three victims of what police say was murder and arson. WAMC's Dave Lucas reports...
A crowd gathered at the Cambridge United Presbyterian Church for 41-year-old Dan Harrington, his 44-year-old wife Lisa Harrington, and his son, Joshua, who was 24.
Police say Lisa Harrington's son, 23-year-old Matthew Slocum, shot his relatives and set fire to their home in White Creek on Wednesday, before fleeing with his girlfriend and their 4-month-old son to New Hampshire, where he was arrested that night.
Slocum has pleaded not guilty to murder and arson and is being held at the Washington County Jail.
