Albany, NY – Well Miami is headed to the NBA finals...

Last night in Chicago, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade each scored eight points in a closing 18 to 3 run, igniting a comeback that led to a series-clinching 83-80 win over the Bulls. Miami will host Dallas for Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday.

On the ice tonight in Boston... the puck drops in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final between the Bruins and Lightning. The winner will play Vancouver for the Stanley Cup.

To baseball... In Detroit, Jacoby Ellsbury's three-run homer capped a five-run second, as Boston blasted the Tigers 14-1 in a rain-shortened affair. The Red Sox, who have scored 28 runs in their last two games, have won 11 of 13.

In other AL action... the White Sox downed Toronto 3-1, Baltimore edged Kansas City 6-5 in 12, and the Angels held off Oakland 4-3.

Over to the NL... In Chicago, Carlos Zambrano allowed one run on six hits over six innings, and went 3 for 3 and knocked in one at the dish, as the Cubs routed the Mets 9-3. New York's dropped 4 of 5.

Elsewhere, Philadelphia pounded Cincinnati 10-4, Florida shutout San Francisco 1-0, and Arizona doubled up Colorado 6-3.

In other baseball news... Giants' catcher Buster Posey has been placed on the DL, after suffering a fractured leg in gruesome collision at home plate with Florida's Scott Cousins.

At the French Open, second-seed Kim Clijsters wasted two match points and lost to 114th-ranked Arantxa Rus 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 in round two action. Elsewhere, Rafael Nadal, Mardy Fish, Maria Sharapova, and Vania King cruised into the third round at Rolland Garros.

And ESPN reports former W-NBA All-Star Margo Dydek has died after suffering a heart attack last week. She was 37 years old.
