There may be a recession, but the world's oldest profession is booming along Central Avenue in Albany: so much so police have installed signage promising public exposure for those engaged in criminal activities along Route 5... Local merchants and neighbors along the busy corridor had been complaining about illegal trade and police followed up, eventually arresting 10 people. On Wednesday, six men were charged with patronizing prostitutes along Central Avenue near Sherman Street.
