Plattsburgh, NY – Dr. Henry Milner is a research fellow at the University of Montreal and the Institute for Research in Public Policy. Milner is well known for his research and books on public engagement in the political process. One of his best known works is Civic Literacy: How informed Citizens Make Democracy Work. Milner lives in Montreal and periodically visits the Plattsburgh State campus. He was on-campus this week to talk to students about youth participation in the political process.
