Albany, NY – The schooner Lois McClure is a full-scale replica of an 1862-class sailing canal boat, constructed in Burlington, Vermont, it was docked in Waterford before setting out on a one-thousand mile journey across NYS visiting many of the so-called "canal communities"... WAMC Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas was in Waterford today for the kickoff of the grand canal voyage of the Lois McClure.
