Plattsburgh, NY – The New York State Commission of Correction may have a new chairman. Plattsburgh Mayor Dan Stewart says he's been nominated by Governor Pataki for the post. If confirmed, the Mayor will resign his current job. The Plattsburgh Common Council will then have to decide how to fill the 18 months remaining in his term.
