Schenectady, NY – New Yorkers making remarkable contributions to science will soon be eligible for a new award sponsored by the city and county of Schenectady. The award will bear the name of early 20th century GE scientist Charles Steinmetz, whose contributions to his field and to the city of Schenectady have had a global effect.
