Milford, NY – The New York State Senate has passed a new flood control bill, following last week's hearing in Schenectady to address dam maintenance. Meanwhile, there's continuing pressure from lawmakers on the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to tighten up the way it maintains its dams and reservoirs in the Catskills.
