Plattsburgh, NY – NASA's Stardust mission to return comet dust particles to earth landed this weekend after a seven year, more than two billion mile flight. A SUNY Plattsburgh professor closely watched the unmanned Stardust spacecraft as it returned early Sunday morning. That's because he's part of the team that will study the bits of a comet that should be contained within the Stardust Return Capsule. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley spoke with Dr. George Flynn about the mission and it's importance to scientists.
