Albany, NY – Urban centers in the Northeast plagued by gang violence are coming to realize that it is no longer just an inner city problem. Suburban neighborhoods, especially in upstate New York, are seeing rising tides of gang-related crime. The New York State Investigation Commission is now looking at ways of curbing the violence.
