Ticonderoga, NY – Nextel has received the final permit approval it needs to start construction on a controversial cell phone tower on Pilot Knob near Lake George. The commissioners agreed with a recent finding by the Adirondack Park Agency. But one group opposed to the project says it will continue its efforts in the courts to block the project.
