Albany, NY – More than one-half of Capital Region residents say the state should authorize the construction of five Indian casinos. Yet they say the casinos should be spread across New York, rather than all be located in the Catskills. A state senator who represents the region in which five Catskills casinos could be built, says scattering the casinos does not make sense. WAMC's Allison Dunne has more.
