Democratic Congressman Richard Neal plans to hold a town hall event in Pittsfield in September.
Neal, of the first House district, will host a 5:30 p.m. town hall at Berkshire Community College on September 15th.
Based in Springfield, Neal has represented the Berkshires since the latest round of redistricting and is the dean of the Massachusetts congressional delegation.
Neal faced some criticism this spring from Western Massachusetts residents and editorial pages that claimed he didn’t often visit their region.
Neal spoke in the Berkshires in January and April, and has made numerous visits to the Berkshires and the Pioneer Valley this year.
