After six months of negotiations, Eversource has backed out of a plan to build a solar array in Lanesborough, Massachusetts.
Lanesborough gave Eversource approval to build a solar array off North Main Street in December.
The utility company is now seeking to build a $10 million, 6.6-megawatt solar array off Partridge Road instead.
At a public hearing Monday, the town Planning Board said it favored the change in plans.
