Wahconah Park in Pittsfield, Mass.

Police in Massachusetts are investigating a break-in at Pittsfield's historic ballpark in which personal items belonging to players, as well as team souvenirs and frozen hamburger patties were stolen.

Police think the theft from Wahconah Park happened between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Sunday.

The nearly 100-year-old park is currently home to the Pittsfield Suns of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League, a summer league for college players.

Team Vice President Kevin McGuire tells The Berkshire Eagle missing are several pair of players shoes and sunglasses, Suns tank tops and sweat shirts from the merchandise booth and about 100 frozen hamburger patties and buns. He says the total value of the items stolen is about $400.
