Former Mass. Gov. Patrick To Address Williams Grads

Former Mass. Gov. Deval Patrick speaks at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams. He will speaking just down the road at Williams College's celebrating the school's 226th commencement.

Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is among a series of speakers marking Williams College’s 226th commencement this weekend.Patrick’s speech will cap off Saturday’s events which include separate conversations with writer Gish Jen and Nobel Prize-winning chemist Mario Molina at 3:15. Patrick’s 5 p.m. address will be held at Chandler Gymnasium and will be live streamed.

Xerox chair Ursula Burns will deliver the commencement address Sunday at 10 a.m. on the West College Lawn. It will also be live-streamed. All four speakers and commentator Frank Deford of NPR and Sports Illustrated are receiving honorary degrees from Williams College.
