Facebook: UConn Huskies

Fresh off Easter weekend, senators from Connecticut and Indiana have made a sweet wager on tonight’s NCAA Division I women’s basketball championship.Connecticut Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy are backing the UConn Huskies with an array of sweets from Munson’s Chocolates in Bolton. Their Indiana colleagues Senators Dan Coats and Joe Donnelly are putting a basket of goods from South Bend Chocolate Company on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.

The teams met last year with UConn winning 79-58. The Fighting Irish are in their fifth straight Final Four while the Huskies are seeking their third consecutive national championship and 10th overall.

Tipoff is set for 8:30.
