Massachusetts Congressman Richard Neal will be touring a couple of western Massachusetts farms Tuesday. Governor Charlie Baker will also celebrate Massachusetts Agricultural Day at the State House.Congressman Neal’s first scheduled stop is Boyden Brothers Maple Farm in Conway at 10 a.m. A sugar house at the farm caught fire last week, but no one was injured.
From there the Democrat will travel to Wheel-View Farm in Shelburne Falls for an 11 o’clock visit. According to its website, Wheel-View Farm has been owned by the same family since 1896 featuring beef cattle, maple syrup and grassfed lamb.
Neal will be joined by representatives from the Massachusetts Farm Service Agency.
