Digital First Media has named a new president and publisher of Connecticut’s New Haven Register.
Kevin Corrado will also head operations at The Register Citizen, The Middletown Press, Connecticut Magazineand Digital First’s Connecticut weeklies. Corrado had been the president and publisher at New England Newspapers Inc., another Digital First Media company, for just over a year. Kevin Moran is the Regional Vice President of News for New England Newspapers which includes The Berkshire Eagle, The Bennington Banner, The Brattleboro Reformer and The Manchester Journal.
“For us here at The Berkshire Eagle and New England News we’ve really enjoyed having him as our publisher,” Moran said. “From a news perspective he really had our backs and was a backbone for the news department.”
Digital First Media is searching internally and externally for Corrado’s replacement at New England Newspapers.
