Hard Rock International will be making pitches this weekend for voter support for its western Massachusetts casino project.
The casino operator will hold a jobs fair Saturday at the West Springfield Middle School. On Sunday officials plan a final town-wide community meeting to answer questions about the project. Hard Rock New England President Tim Maland said its all leading up to the September 10th voter referendum.
Hard Rock is facing competition for the lone casino license in western Massachusetts from MGM in Springfield and Mohegan Sun in Palmer. Each of the three developers promise to pay tens of millions of dollars to their host communities, and create 3,000 jobs
